Taylors Waterways Tours Ltd is a family company established in 1995 owned and run by Clive and Sue Taylor, who have over thirty years of waterways experience and two I.W.A. Silver Sword Awards. We have a great love of Britain's waterways heritage and genuinely delight in sharing our knowledge and enthusiasm with visitors.
This enables you to see and be part of the real England, peacefully by water, at your own pace, on our modern purpose-built boat, with an itinerary chosen by you and adaptable by you as we travel. We will look after the navigation, boat working and housekeeping and be your guides, planners, and advisors throughout the cruise, leaving you free to enjoy your holiday. It's a touring holiday without the continual packing and unpacking - your bedroom comes with you!
Our clients are treated as honoured friends - not cattle to be herded around. We only take a single booking (up to four people) at a time, so you are not sharing the boat with another party. We can propose, plan and arrange things to your own interests in most areas. Our tours are not for those who want nightlife - we try to moor overnight in the countryside; nor for those who wish to glimpse twenty famous sights in an afternoon - we travel at 3 mph. Neither does a 60ft narrow boat have all the amenities and space of a cruise liner.
